PandaDoc pricing 2026: plans, add-ons and real cost
TL;DR
PandaDoc has four plans: Free ($0, 5 documents a month), Starter ($19 a seat a month billed annually, $35 monthly), Business ($49 billed annually, $65 monthly) and Enterprise (quote).
Business is the first plan with pricing tables, CRM integrations and custom branding, and the pricing page lists payment collection from Business up (PandaDoc's help centre also allows Stripe payments on Starter). It is the plan most agencies sending proposals end up on.
The API, Zapier, Make, forms and bulk send use usage credits that are sold separately, and PandaDoc does not publish their price. Notary is a separate product from $25 per notarisation.
For a 3-person team, Business costs $1,764 a year on annual billing or $2,340 on monthly billing. Annual orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
PandaDoc charges per seat: Starter costs $19 a seat a month and Business $49 a seat a month on annual billing, or $35 and $65 on monthly billing. There is also a Free plan with 5 documents a month and a custom-priced Enterprise plan. Below are every plan and price as listed on 14 October 2026, the add-ons that sit outside the seat price, what PandaDoc really costs for teams of 1, 3 and 10, and the contract terms to read before you sign. For features beyond price, see our PandaDoc tool profile.
PandaDoc plans and prices
PandaDoc's pricing page opens on annual billing, so the first prices you see are $19 and $49. Switch the toggle to monthly and they become $35 and $65 a seat. The page says annual billing saves "up to 46%", which is the Starter discount. On Business the saving is 25%.
Figure: PandaDoc plans, prices and document limits as listed on 14 October 2026.
Free ($0): 5 documents a month (60 a year), shared across the account. You get eSignatures, real-time tracking, up to 5 templates and 24/7 email and chat support. The comparison table shows no document editor on Free, while the plan summary lists one, so check before you rely on it.
Starter ($19 a seat a month billed annually, $35 monthly): unlimited document uploads and e-signatures, the drag and drop editor, up to 5 templates, real-time tracking and notifications. No pricing tables, no CRM integrations and no custom branding. 14-day free trial, no card needed.
Business ($49 a seat a month billed annually, $65 monthly): everything in Starter plus unlimited templates, a content library, custom branding, approval workflows, pricing tables, payment collection, a product catalog, CRM integrations, up to 3 deal rooms, auto reminders and recipient analytics. Web forms, bulk send and the API use usage credits.
Enterprise (quote): everything in Business plus smart content, SSO, team workspaces, custom user roles, unlimited rooms and US or EU data residency. CPQ, workflow automation, notary and HIPAA compliance are optional extras. PandaDoc prices Enterprise per seat or per document.
There is also a per-document package for teams that want unlimited seats and pay only for the documents they create. PandaDoc does not publish its price; you get it from sales.
Prices are in USD and exclude tax.

Which plan do agencies need?
For proposals, the answer is usually Business. Starter is an eSignature and document tool: you can upload and sign contracts, but you cannot build a priced proposal with a pricing table or sync the deal to your CRM, and the pricing page lists payment collection from Business up (PandaDoc's help centre says Starter can take Stripe payments only). Those are the three things that make a proposal tool worth paying for in a B2B sales process.
Two Starter limits matter for agencies in particular:
5 templates. Starter and Free both cap templates at 5. An agency with separate proposals per service, plus contracts and SOWs, will hit that quickly. Business has unlimited templates.
No custom branding or content library. Every proposal on Starter looks like a PandaDoc document. Business adds your branding and a library of reusable blocks such as case studies, team bios and terms.
If you only need clients to sign a contract you wrote elsewhere, Starter is enough. If you want the proposal to do the selling, budget for Business. Our proposal templates guide covers what that proposal should contain.
What PandaDoc really costs for 1, 3 and 10 seats
Because PandaDoc charges per seat, the bill grows with every person who creates or sends documents. On annual billing, Business costs $588 a seat a year. For a typical 3-person agency team that is $1,764 a year, and for 10 seats $5,880.
Figure: yearly PandaDoc cost by team size at list prices. GROU calculation.
The full picture, at list prices:
1 seat: Starter $228 a year billed annually or $420 billed monthly. Business $588 or $780.
3 seats: Starter $684 or $1,260. Business $1,764 or $2,340.
10 seats: Starter $2,280 or $4,200. Business $5,880 or $7,800.
These figures cover seats only. Add usage credits if you automate document creation, payment processing fees if you collect payments, and any extras such as notary. At 10 seats or more, ask sales for a per-document quote as well, because with unlimited seats it can come in below the per-seat price if your document volume is low.
Monthly vs annual billing
Annual billing saves the same $192 per seat a year on both paid plans: $420 down to $228 on Starter, and $780 down to $588 on Business. In percentage terms that is 46% on Starter and 25% on Business.
Figure: yearly cost of one PandaDoc seat on monthly and annual billing. GROU calculation.
The saving comes with a commitment. PandaDoc's FAQ says you can switch from monthly to annual billing in the app and that upgrades are prorated. Going the other way is not described. On annual billing, plan for the full 12 months.
Document limits and usage credits
PandaDoc counts two kinds of documents, and they are billed differently.
Documents created in the PandaDoc app. Free is limited to 5 a month. Starter, Business and Enterprise list documents created in the app as unlimited. PandaDoc's FAQ still describes overage pricing once you reach a document limit: $3.50 a document on Starter monthly, $2 on Starter annual and $2.60 on Business monthly. The FAQ also says unused documents do not roll over, although annual plans can use the full yearly allowance at any time. If your contract shows a document allowance, ask PandaDoc which limit applies before you rely on "unlimited".
Documents created through integrations and automation. A usage credit is used every time a new document is created through the API, Zapier, Make, forms or bulk send. In PandaDoc's words, Starter and Business "include trial credits for first-time customers", after which you buy a recurring usage credit pack. Most integrations can then fall back to pay-per-document. The API cannot: it is credit packs only, and once credits reach zero, API calls are rejected until you buy more. PandaDoc does not publish what a credit pack costs.
For agencies this matters if you plan to generate proposals automatically from your CRM. A manual proposal sent from the app is covered by the seat price. A proposal created by an automation is not.
PandaDoc add-ons and extra costs
Several features are marked "optional" or "requires usage credits" on the pricing page. Where a price is published, it is in the table below. Where it is not, you get it from sales.
Figure: PandaDoc add-ons and extra costs, from PandaDoc's pricing, notary and help pages, 14 October 2026.
Usage credits: needed for the API, Zapier, Make, web forms and bulk send on Starter and Business. Price not published.
Payments: the pricing page lists payment collection from Business up. PandaDoc's Stripe help article lists the PandaDoc transaction fee as $0.00 "(subject to change)" and says Stripe is the only gateway on Starter. You still pay the gateway's fees: Stripe's standard rate is 2.9% plus 30 cents per successful domestic card payment.
Notary: PandaDoc Notary is a separate remote online notarisation product. Bring your own notary starts at $69 a user a month plus $10 per notarial transaction. Using PandaDoc's notaries starts at $25 per notarial transaction.
CPQ and workflow automation: optional on Enterprise only, priced by quote.
Qualified electronic signature and recipient verification: listed for annual Business and Enterprise plans only. SMS verification and knowledge-based authentication are listed as included on those plans.
Premium support and email whitelabeling: optional, price not published.
PandaDoc API pricing
PandaDoc sells API access as its own product, separate from the seat plans. The API pricing page lists three tiers:
Free: 60 documents a year, 2 recipients per document, 5 templates and a full sandbox for testing.
API Developer plan: $40 a month after a 14-day trial, with 40 documents a month that "scales with your volume".
Enterprise: custom document volume, plus CRM integrations, notary, SSO and custom user management.
PandaDoc's API access comparison shows webhooks are not included on Starter, and Applications/OAuth is a paid add-on on Business and Enterprise. If your developers plan to build on PandaDoc, read that table before you pick a plan.

Figure: PandaDoc API pricing page, 14 October 2026.
Contract, cancellation and refunds
PandaDoc's master services agreement is the document to read before you commit. Four terms stand out:
No refunds. Unless agreed in writing, "all Orders are non-cancelable and Fees are non-refundable", and the term is a commitment for its full length regardless of the invoice schedule.
Seats do not come off mid-term. Removing licensed users "will not reduce the fees payable" for the term. Adding users is prorated.
Automatic renewal. Unless the order says otherwise, units renew for one-year terms unless either side gives written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the term ends.
Renewal price. On renewal, the price per unit is the greater of PandaDoc's published price or what you paid, and discounts and promotional pricing do not carry over.
Unused volume-based purchases also expire at the end of the term. In practice: start on the 14-day trial or a monthly plan, size your seat count carefully before you switch to annual, and put the renewal date in your calendar at least 30 days ahead.
Is PandaDoc worth it for an agency?
PandaDoc is worth the Business price if your proposals carry pricing, need a signature and a payment, and should land back in your CRM. Electronic signatures are legally binding in the US under the ESIGN Act and in the EU under the eIDAS framework, so the signed proposal can also be the contract.
There is also a buyer-side reason. A 2025 Gartner survey of 632 B2B buyers found 61% prefer a rep-free buying experience. A proposal the buyer can read, price and sign on their own fits that preference, and PandaDoc's recipient analytics show when they open it.
It is less of a fit if:
You send only a handful of contracts a month. The Free plan's 5 documents may be enough.
You need cheap seats for a large team that rarely sends proposals. Ask for per-document pricing, or compare per-user tools.
You mainly want automated, CRM-generated documents. Usage credits make the cost hard to forecast until you have a quote.
If your CRM is still undecided, see our HubSpot pricing and Pipedrive pricing breakdowns and the best CRM for B2B SaaS.

FAQ
How much does PandaDoc cost per month?
Starter costs $19 a seat a month billed annually or $35 billed monthly. Business costs $49 a seat a month billed annually or $65 billed monthly. Enterprise is quoted by sales. There is also a Free plan with 5 documents a month.
Does PandaDoc have a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and includes 5 documents a month (60 a year) shared across the account, eSignatures, tracking and up to 5 templates. There is also a 14-day free trial of Starter with no card needed.
What is the difference between PandaDoc Starter and Business?
Starter covers document uploads, e-signatures and the editor with up to 5 templates. Business adds unlimited templates, pricing tables, payment collection, a product catalog, CRM integrations, custom branding, a content library, approval workflows and deal rooms.
Does PandaDoc charge per user?
Yes. Starter, Business and Enterprise are priced per seat. Enterprise can also be priced per document, with unlimited seats, through sales.
What are PandaDoc usage credits?
Usage credits are used when a document is created through an integration or automation, such as the API, Zapier, Make, forms or bulk send. Starter and Business include trial credits, then you buy recurring credit packs. PandaDoc does not publish their price.
Can I get a refund from PandaDoc?
Not usually. PandaDoc's master services agreement says orders are non-cancellable and fees non-refundable unless agreed in writing, and removing seats does not reduce what you owe for the term.
Bottom line
PandaDoc pricing starts free and runs from $19 to $65 a seat a month on the self-serve plans. For agencies sending priced proposals, Business is the realistic plan: $588 a seat a year on annual billing, or $1,764 for a team of three. Budget separately for usage credits if you automate document creation, for payment processing fees and for notary if you need it. Try it on the 14-day trial or a monthly plan first, because an annual order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

At 10 seats or more, ask sales for a per-document quote as well, because with unlimited seats it can come in below the per-seat price if your document volume is low.

Because PandaDoc charges per seat, the bill grows with every person who creates or sends documents. On annual billing, Business costs $588 a seat a year. For a typical 3-person agency team that is $1,764 a year, and for 10 seats $5,880.
