Masters of Building Fair is a professional conference and fair organiser focused on the construction and real estate industry in Croatia and the wider Adriatic region. The event brings together C-level decision-makers from construction companies, real estate developers, manufacturers, and financial institutions.
For this engagement, MBF needed a scalable outreach system to promote the conference to the right people across Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially people who were not already in their network and would not be reached through standard event promotion alone.
MBF needed to promote its annual conference to thousands of senior decision-makers across four markets in a short window before the event.
The challenge was not just scale, it was relevance. MBF needed to reach CEOs, owners, board members, vice presidents, and senior directors in construction and real estate, and create direct engagement rather than passive awareness. Broad event marketing alone was not enough for that.
At the same time, the campaigns had to run across multiple markets, languages, and senders. Croatian, Slovenian, and English messaging all needed to be adapted properly, while reporting and execution had to stay consistent across the full campaign system.
Our goal was to help MBF reach the right decision-makers across four markets at scale through direct outreach, and turn that reach into conversations, registrations, exhibitor interest, and qualified event demand.
The system also had to be repeatable. It needed to support multiple concurrent campaigns across markets and senders, while giving MBF clear visibility into what was performing and where the strongest engagement was coming from.
We approached the engagement as a high-volume, multi-market outreach system built around email as the main channel, with LinkedIn layered in where it could improve engagement with top-priority contacts.
We built separate campaigns by market, language, and sender. Croatian-language campaigns targeted Croatia, Slovenian-language campaigns targeted Slovenia, and English-language campaigns covered international contacts where needed. Each campaign focused on C-level decision-makers and company owners in construction and real estate, supported by enriched email data and LinkedIn profiles.
To scale safely, we also used additional sending infrastructure alongside the main domain to protect deliverability while increasing outreach volume. For the highest-value Croatian audience, we ran a multichannel campaign combining LinkedIn connection requests and email follow-ups, which significantly outperformed email-only outreach.
We built and managed 24 outreach campaigns across Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, and BIH.
Our work included:
building and enriching targeted lists of senior decision-makers across construction and real estate in four markets
writing Croatian-, Slovenian-, and English-language email sequences tailored by market and sender
running a multichannel LinkedIn plus email campaign for the highest-priority Croatian contacts
setting up additional sending domains to scale outreach volume safely
managing campaign execution across multiple senders and campaign streams
delivering weekly reports to the MBF team throughout the engagement
tracking all campaign performance in Lemlist for full-funnel visibility
By combining sender setup, list quality, copy, and reporting into one coordinated system, we helped MBF run outreach at a scale that would be difficult to manage manually.
The engagement generated strong event demand for MBF across the Adriatic region.
Across 24 campaigns, we started 2,245 conversations with senior decision-makers, maintained an 87.1% delivery rate, and built a pipeline of 350 qualified leads around the event. The strongest proof point came from the only multichannel campaign, which targeted the top 1,000 Croatian contacts and achieved a 39.0% LinkedIn connection acceptance rate together with a 17.7% reply rate. That was materially stronger than every email-only campaign in the dataset.
The bigger takeaway was not just the volume. It was the structure behind it. The campaign proved that MBF could promote a regional event across multiple markets, languages, and senders without losing deliverability or response quality, and that multichannel outreach created meaningfully stronger engagement at senior-decision-maker level.
LinkedIn plus email generated much higher reply rates than email-only when targeting C-level decision-makers in the Adriatic construction and real estate sector.
High-volume outreach is possible without sacrificing deliverability when domains, sending limits, and list quality are managed properly.
Local-language messaging and local senders matter in regional B2B campaigns.
Direct outreach creates senior-level engagement that broad event promotion usually cannot.
Running 24 concurrent campaigns across markets requires strong coordination between list building, copy, sender setup, and reporting.
