Precision Resource is a precision metal forming manufacturer producing components for automotive, defense, industrial, and consumer hardware applications. Its capabilities cover cold forging and precision machining at scale, with European and North American operations serving OEMs and tier-1 suppliers.
For this project, the focus was on European business development. The goal was to open conversations with engineering and procurement decision-makers at manufacturing OEMs, tier-1 suppliers, and trade-show buyers across multiple regions in parallel.
Precision Resource needed to build a repeatable outbound system across multiple European markets at the same time. Each market has different buying cycles, languages, and trade-show calendars, and the company's existing sales team did not have capacity to run consistent multichannel outreach across all of them in parallel.
The bigger challenge was sequencing. Trade-show outbound - especially around Blechexpo, the largest European sheet-metal trade fair — has a tight window. Pre-show invitations need to land four to six weeks before the event, post-show follow-up needs to land the week the buyer is back at their desk, and the message has to feel relevant to the specific reason that prospect was likely to attend.
At the same time, ongoing market-development outbound had to keep running between events. That meant building pipeline in Italy, the Balkans, France, and across European defense suppliers without burning out sender domains or hitting LinkedIn account limits.
The goal was to build a steady outbound engine that produced qualified conversations every week, across six European markets, with the trade-show calendar treated as a sequencing input rather than the whole campaign.
This meant running parallel campaigns - Blechexpo pre-show, Blechexpo post-show, market-development campaigns by country, defense-supplier outreach, and LinkedIn-only sequences for markets where email deliverability was weaker — and keeping each campaign feeding the same central pipeline.
GROU built the system in three layers.
The first layer was infrastructure. We provisioned warmed sender domains and inbox rotations for each major market segment, configured LinkedIn accounts with the daily limits and warmup protocols needed to sustain ongoing outreach, and set up reporting that tracked every campaign in lemlist with shared funnel definitions.
The second layer was campaign architecture. Each market got two or three campaigns running in parallel - a trade-show window (Blechexpo Germany), an ongoing market-development push, and a LinkedIn-only sequence for prospects where email had not landed. This kept volume balanced across channels and prevented over-reliance on any single domain or account.
The third layer was sequencing. Email and LinkedIn touches were timed so a prospect first saw a LinkedIn profile visit or post engagement before the first email, with follow-up sequences continuing across both channels for up to five touches. Trade-show campaigns added a fourth dimension - pre-show, at-show, and post-show messaging - that synced with Precision Resource's actual presence at Blechexpo.
GROU ran the program end-to-end across these workstreams:
Blechexpo Germany (multi-wave): Pre-show invitation campaigns to German sheet-metal buyers, in-show LinkedIn engagement during the event, and post-show follow-up campaigns. Top-performing Blechexpo follow-up hit a 91.1% LinkedIn accept rate and 20.2% reply rate - well above industry averages for outbound in manufacturing.
Italy market-development (email + LinkedIn): Two parallel campaigns. An Italy LinkedIn-only sequence reached 558 prospects at 4.7% reply, and an Italy Email-only campaign reached 583 prospects at 7.7% reply with 49.2% open rate.
Balkans expansion: EX-YU campaign hit 19.3% reply rate on 189 contacted prospects with 65.9% LinkedIn acceptance - the highest sustained reply rate in the program.
European defense supplier outreach: A 1,140-prospect campaign targeting defense procurement contacts at 2.8% reply rate with 44.6% open rate.
Always-on follow-up: Multiple ongoing nurture campaigns for prospects who didn't convert in the first pass. Sustained 8.1% reply on the warmest segment, with 38-43% open rates across the funnel.
Across the whole program, the system covered six European markets, ran 17 parallel campaigns, and kept reply quality high enough to feed Precision Resource's sales team without overwhelming them.
The program delivered on the volume target while keeping reply quality strong enough to feed Precision Resource's sales team without overwhelming them.
The Blechexpo follow-up campaigns produced the highest single-campaign reply rate in the program at 20.2%, with 79.8% open rate and 91.1% LinkedIn acceptance. This validated the trade-show outbound sequencing - buyers who had seen Precision Resource at the event were dramatically more likely to engage in a follow-up sequence than a cold prospect from the same vertical.
The Italy email-only campaign demonstrated that even without LinkedIn-side warming, a focused single-channel sequence can sustain 7.7% reply and 49.2% open rate on 500+ prospects when the targeting and copy are tight. That's a strong proof point for markets where account-based LinkedIn capacity is constrained.
The EX-YU campaign hit 19.3% reply on 189 prospects, the second-highest reply rate in the program. Smaller and less-saturated European markets respond strongly to thoughtful outbound when most competitors are not running there.
Across the full program, the system generated 300+ qualified replies, with portfolio-wide average open rates of 40-50% and reply rates several multiples above industry averages.
Trade-show follow-up was the strongest direct outbound channel for Precision Resource's European manufacturing offer.
Smaller European markets responded best, suggesting stronger ICP precision and less buyer saturation in those segments.
Defense procurement and broad market-development campaigns still created useful conversation volume and should remain part of the mix.
In Italy, LinkedIn worked best as a supporting trust layer, not the main conversion channel.
Campaign-by-market testing made it easier to see where reply quality and channel mix were strongest.
