Plastit is a Slovenia-based injection moulding manufacturer that helps hardware teams take plastic parts from concept to serial production. The company offers design-for-manufacturing feedback, mould design and in-house tooling, injection moulding, and post-production services including printing, welding, assembly, and packaging.
For this engagement, the focus was on building a repeatable outbound system that could help Plastit reach product managers, R&D engineers, and procurement leads at hardware companies across Western Europe.
Plastit had the product, the certifications, and the production capability, but no scalable outbound process.
Before the engagement, outreach was being done manually by the founder through LinkedIn and email. That approach was personal and credible, but too inconsistent and time-consuming to scale. For a manufacturing company with limited brand visibility outside Slovenia, that created a serious growth bottleneck.
The challenge was to keep the trust advantage of founder-led outreach while turning it into a structured engine that could reach the right decision-makers at volume in Western European markets.
Our goal was to help Plastit build a reliable outbound engine that could reach hardware buyers directly and create qualified pipeline activity across Western Europe.
That meant systematising the founder’s outreach rather than replacing it, improving how the founder showed up on LinkedIn, and creating a campaign structure that could be iterated based on market response.
We approached the project as a founder-led multi-channel outbound system.
After the initial audit and kickoff, we mapped the ICP, extracted proof points from existing client work, and built a formal outreach sequence around Plastit’s real strengths. Before launch, we also optimised Jaka Bizjak’s LinkedIn profile so every prospect who checked it would see a more credible manufacturing partner story rather than a generic supplier profile.
The campaign engine itself was built in Lemlist and combined email with LinkedIn touches, running from Jaka’s personal accounts. We used the founder’s voice as a trust lever, while testing different messaging approaches and audience segments based on response quality.
We built and managed five multi-channel outbound campaigns for Plastit across France, Germany, and trade-show-driven target segments.
Our work included:
running a kickoff to define ICP, extract proof points, and shape the outbound positioning
optimising founder’s LinkedIn profile before launch
building a multi-channel Lemlist sequence combining email and LinkedIn
testing multiple message variants across different campaigns
adapting messaging after early underperformance in pure German-language sequences
running a standout campaign around Eisenwarenmesse as a trade-show signal layer
managing inboxes, monitoring reply quality, and iterating targeting and messaging during the engagement
keeping the process aligned with bi-weekly syncs between Grou and the client
This allowed Plastit to keep outreach personal while making it much more scalable.
The engagement gave Plastit a much more structured outbound sales process and delivered strong performance in a difficult B2B manufacturing category.
Across five campaigns, the outreach reached 1,291 contacts and generated 97 leads, with an average open rate of 48.9%. The strongest campaign was the one built around the Eisenwarenmesse trade fair, which delivered a 16.0% reply rate and clearly outperformed the more generic market-based campaigns. Click and LinkedIn acceptance rates also reached 18.2% on average, showing that the interest extended beyond simple email opens.
Founder-led outreach can scale well when the process is systematised instead of replaced.
Trade-show targeting was significantly stronger than generic territory targeting.
Strong subject lines and sender credibility drove open rates well above typical cold outreach benchmarks.
LinkedIn profile optimisation matters because prospects check the profile before deciding to reply.
Renewal and scope expansion are strong signals that outbound is creating real pipeline value.
