RocketReach pricing 2026: plans and credit maths

TL;DR

  • RocketReach has three self-serve plans: Essentials (email only), Pro and Ultimate (email and phone). They cost $69, $119 or $209 a month, or $399, $899 or $1,699 a year billed annually.

  • Monthly plans give 100, 250 or 1,000 lookups and exports a month. Annual plans give unlimited lookups but cap exports at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year.

  • Exports are the real unit of cost: one export or one API credit costs from about 8.5 cents (Ultimate, yearly) to 69 cents (Essentials, monthly).

  • Pricing is per seat, with 5% off every seat once you have 2 or more. Payments are non-refundable and plans renew automatically.

RocketReach prices by seat and plan, and each plan comes with a set number of lookups and exports. Essentials costs $69 a month or $399 a year, Pro $119 a month or $899 a year and Ultimate $209 a month or $1,699 a year. Below are every plan as listed on 14 October 2026, the difference between a lookup and an export, what one contact really costs, how team seats are priced and the renewal and refund terms to read before you pay. For features beyond price, see our RocketReach tool profile.

RocketReach plans and prices

The RocketReach pricing page lists three self-serve plans and a Custom Team plan. A toggle switches between annual and monthly billing, and a seat counter changes the price per seat. Annual billing shows a "Save 50%" badge.

  • Free ($0): 5 free lookups, no card needed. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, per the pricing FAQ.

  • Essentials ($69/mo, or $399/yr): email only, personal and professional. 100 lookups and 100 exports a month on monthly billing. On annual billing, unlimited lookups and 1,200 exports a year.

  • Pro ($119/mo, or $899/yr): emails plus mobile and direct phone numbers. 250 lookups and exports a month, or unlimited lookups and 3,600 exports a year. Adds technographics, shared team tags and CRM integrations.

  • Ultimate ($209/mo, or $1,699/yr): emails and phones. 1,000 lookups and exports a month, or unlimited lookups and 20,000 exports a year. Adds intent data, healthcare data, Salesforce custom mapping, advanced team management, suppression lists and single sign-on.

  • Custom Team (contact sales): company exports, custom exports, pooled credits, customisable packages, a dedicated account manager and higher API limits. RocketReach says these plans start at $6K a year.

On annual billing the monthly figures on the cards are rounded: $399 a year is $33.25 a month, $899 is $74.92 and $1,699 is $141.58.

Lookups vs exports: how RocketReach credits work

RocketReach uses two counters, and the difference decides what you pay per contact.

  • A lookup reveals a person's contact details inside RocketReach. Its terms of service define a lookup as each search for contact information.

  • An export is a download of that data out of RocketReach. The subscription agreement defines exports as "downloads of Lookup Information", and the API FAQ adds: "In the UI, these are called Exports. 1 Export = 1 API Credit."

On monthly billing the two counters match: 100, 250 or 1,000 of each a month. On annual billing lookups are unlimited, but exports are capped at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year. So if you only view contacts in the app and copy them by hand, an annual plan has no practical lookup limit. If you push contacts to a CSV, a CRM or a sequencing tool, every contact uses an export.

"Unlimited" has a ceiling too. The subscription agreement says unlimited plans are "restricted to 10,000 searches and 10,000 Lookups within a rolling 30-day period", with further per-minute, hourly and daily limits at RocketReach's discretion.

Figure: the lookups and exports rows of the RocketReach plan comparison, 14 October 2026.

Three credit rules are in your favour:

  • No result, no charge. The pricing FAQ says: "A lookup is used if we find and verify email or phone, otherwise it is refunded." The API FAQ adds that B or F grade emails are not charged.

  • Re-lookups are free. Looking up the same profile again is not charged "as long as your plan is active".

  • Email type filter. You can choose to see only personal or only professional emails, and you are only charged if that type is found.

What one RocketReach contact really costs

Divide the list price by the exports and a RocketReach contact costs between 8.5 and 69 cents. On annual billing an export costs about 33 cents on Essentials, 25 cents on Pro and 8.5 cents on Ultimate. On monthly billing the same plans cost 69, 48 and 21 cents an export. Annual billing cuts the cost per export by about half or more on every plan.

RocketReach cost per export 2026, from $0.085 on Ultimate billed yearly to $0.69 on Essentials billed monthly, one seat

Figure: list price divided by included exports, RocketReach pricing as of 14 October 2026.

The catch is that the low numbers assume you use every export. Ultimate at $1,699 a year is 8.5 cents an export at 20,000 exports, but 34 cents at 5,000, which is more than Pro at full use. Buy for the volume you will actually export, not the plan with the lowest headline rate.

Monthly vs annual is the bigger lever. Twelve months of Essentials on monthly billing cost $828, against $399 on annual billing, a 52% saving. Pro saves 37% ($1,428 vs $899) and Ultimate 32% ($2,508 vs $1,699). Annual Ultimate also gives 20,000 exports a year against 12,000 on twelve monthly payments, so the gap per export is wider still.

What RocketReach costs by monthly volume

The right plan depends on how many contacts you export each month and whether you need phone numbers. On annual billing, one seat:

RocketReach plan by volume 2026, $399 a year for 100 email exports a month, $899 for 300 with phones, $1,699 up to 1,670

Figure: yearly cost of each RocketReach plan by monthly export volume, list prices on annual billing.

  • Emails only, up to 100 a month: Essentials at $399 a year, or $69 a month on monthly billing. About 33 cents an export on annual billing.

  • With phone numbers, up to 300 a month: Pro at $899 a year, or $119 a month for 250 a month on monthly billing. About 25 cents an export.

  • With phone numbers, 300 to about 1,670 a month: Ultimate at $1,699 a year, which also adds intent and healthcare data. 8.5 cents an export at full use.

  • More than 20,000 exports a year, or a pooled team budget: a Custom Team plan, from $6K a year per RocketReach.

There is no email-only plan above Essentials. If you need more than 1,200 email exports a year, you move to Pro or Ultimate and pay for phone data whether you use it or not.

Team and seat pricing

RocketReach charges per seat, with 5% off every seat once you have 2 or more, including the first: on monthly billing $66, $113 or $199 a seat, and on annual billing $379, $854 or $1,614 a seat a year. Five annual Pro seats cost $4,270 a year.

Figure: RocketReach per-seat prices for one and several seats, as the pricing page shows them on 14 October 2026.

Credits are not pooled on these plans. The comparison table lists "Pooled Credits", described as sharing "credits across your entire team", only under Custom Team features. The terms also say that the person who manages a team must purchase additional lookups and exports on behalf of team members. If one rep exports far more than the others, plan for that seat, or ask sales about a pooled plan.

API and MCP access

Every self-serve plan includes API access and MCP access, which connects RocketReach to MCP-compatible AI tools. There is no separate API price on the pricing page. API calls draw on the same budget as the app: one export equals one API credit.

What changes by plan is the rate limit. RocketReach's rate limits documentation sets person lookups via the API at 5,000 a month on Essentials, 20,000 on Pro and 50,000 on Ultimate, with per-minute, hourly and daily limits under that and a global limit of 10 requests a second. Those are throttling limits; your export allowance still applies.

RocketReach also documents a newer "Universal Credits" system for API customers, set up through account managers. Its credit table charges by action: 2 credits for a professional email, 3 for a personal email and 6 for a phone number. If you are offered Universal Credits, convert the quote into cost per contact with phones before comparing it with a self-serve plan.

Integrations and the extension

  • Integrations: Pro and Ultimate include HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach and Bullhorn. Essentials does not include any CRM integration. The integrations page also lists Zapier.

  • Chrome extension: included in every plan. The Chrome Web Store listing shows 300,000 users and a 3.3 out of 5 rating from 459 ratings.

  • Sequences: every plan includes messages, sequences, an AI email writer and Autopilot, with an email sending limit of 500 a day and 5, 10 or 25 active Autopilot jobs by plan.

Renewals, cancellation and refunds

RocketReach plans renew automatically for the same term, and the refund policy is short: "Payments are non-refundable, including fees and other charges. You can't get a refund for any subscription once it has started."

  • Cancellation: cancel from your account page or by emailing support. It stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current month or year.

  • Upgrades and downgrades: an upgrade is charged immediately. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle.

  • Price changes: RocketReach can change prices with prior written notice by email. Changes take effect at the next subscription term, and renewals are billed at the then-current standard price.

  • Expiry: per the terms, lookups expire at the end of the subscription term.

  • Overage: the subscription agreement says you will be charged for "additional credits used beyond your applicable allotment of Exports". RocketReach does not publish a price for those extra credits.

Auto-renewal is the most common complaint about RocketReach on Trustpilot, where it scores 1.2 out of 5 from 1,113 reviews and the review summary highlights unexpected annual renewals and refused refunds. Set a calendar reminder a few weeks before your renewal date.

Hidden costs to check before you buy

  • Exports, not lookups, set your bill. "Unlimited" on annual plans covers lookups only.

  • No email-only plan above 1,200 exports a year. Email-heavy teams pay for phone data on Pro and Ultimate.

  • Per-seat pricing. Every user is a paid seat (5% off every seat once you have 2 or more), and credits only pool on Custom plans.

  • No published overage price. If you run out mid-term, ask for the rate before you buy more.

  • Currency. Prices show "$". Check the amount at checkout if you pay in euros or pounds.

RocketReach vs the alternatives on price

RocketReach's model is per seat with an export allowance. How that compares:

Who RocketReach pricing suits

RocketReach is a good buy if you:

  • Look up contacts mostly inside the app or the extension, where annual lookups are unlimited

  • Need phone numbers and CRM sync, from Pro upwards

  • Export a predictable volume that fits one of the three yearly caps

  • Want sequencing and an API in the same subscription

FAQ

How much does RocketReach cost per month?

On monthly billing, Essentials costs $69, Pro $119 and Ultimate $209 a month per seat. On annual billing they cost $399, $899 and $1,699 a year, which the pricing page shows as $33, $75 and $142 a month.

Does RocketReach have a free plan?

Yes. A free account includes 5 free lookups with no credit card required. After that you need a paid plan.

What is the difference between a lookup and an export in RocketReach?

A lookup reveals a contact's details in RocketReach. An export downloads that contact out of RocketReach, to a file, a CRM or through the API. Annual plans give unlimited lookups but a yearly export cap; monthly plans cap both.

Is RocketReach unlimited really unlimited?

No. Unlimited applies to lookups on annual plans, and RocketReach's subscription agreement restricts it to 10,000 searches and 10,000 lookups in a rolling 30-day period. Exports are capped at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year.

Does RocketReach charge per user?

Yes. Each seat is priced separately, with 5% off every seat once you have 2 or more. Pooled credits are only listed for Custom Team plans, which start at $6K a year.

Can I get a refund from RocketReach?

No. RocketReach's refund policy says payments are non-refundable once a subscription has started. You can cancel any time to stop the next renewal and keep access until the term ends.

Bottom line

RocketReach pricing comes down to exports. $399 a year buys 1,200 email exports, $899 buys 3,600 with phone numbers and $1,699 buys 20,000, each for one seat, with unlimited in-app lookups on annual billing. Ultimate is the cheapest per contact at 8.5 cents, but only if you export close to its full allowance. Monthly billing costs roughly twice as much per export, and because nothing is refundable, test on the free lookups or one month before you commit to a year.

Skip it if you need a large email-only volume, a shared credit pool for a team without a Custom contract, or a monthly plan you might cancel quickly, since payments are non-refundable. Before you export EU contacts, read RocketReach's Data Processing Addendum and our GDPR cold email playbook.
